Innovation Station Kits Partners with High 5, Inc. to Bring Hands-On Invention Education to Afterschool Programs in Hillsborough County

Hillsborough County, FL — February 6th, 2026 — Innovation Station Kits is proud to announce a new partnership with High 5, Inc., launching an exciting pilot program that will bring hands-on invention and innovation education to third-grade students across nine afterschool sites in Hillsborough County Public Schools.

Beginning this spring, students will participate in an eight-week innovation journey using Innovation Station Kits, guiding them through the full invention process—from identifying problems to building prototypes and pitching solutions. Throughout the program, students will develop creativity, critical thinking, and confidence as young innovators.

Several participating sites serve Title I schools, ensuring that students from underserved communities have access to high-quality STEM and entrepreneurship learning experiences.

The program will culminate in a final pitch event in April, where students will present their inventions to peers, educators, and community members. This event will celebrate student creativity and highlight the impact of experiential, project-based learning.
